1050 aluminium coil
1050 aluminium coil belongs to commercially pure wrought family with a purity of 99.5% Aluminium. Except Al, 0.4% of Fe is added to 1050 aluminium coil, thus, it has high electrical conductivity. 1000 series aluminium group offers the best correction resistance compared to any alloy group, so does the 1050 aluminium coil.
Aluminium alloy 1050 is a popular grade of aluminium for general coil metal work where moderate strength is required.Aluminium alloy 1050 is known for its excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility and highly reflective finish.
When welding 1050 to itself or an alloy from the same subgroup the recommended filler wire is 1100. For welding to alloys 5083 and 5086 or alloys from the 7XXX series, the recommend wire is 5356. For other alloys use 4043 filler wire.
For its content above in the chart, 1050 aluminium coil has high ductility and high reflective finish. Besides, 1050 aluminium coil is non-heat treatment series is produced in extruded sections. It has excellent cold workability, braze-ability and solder-ability, and it is strengthened by cold working. However, 1050 aluminium coil has low mechanical strength compared to more significantly alloyed metals. All of these characteristics make 1050 aluminium coil well suited to chemical and electrolytic brightening but not in casting. Last but not least, moderate strength and good anodizing quality enables our products has a vast application.
Aluminium Alloy 1050 (1050 A) is available in Plate, coil, Strip, Bar, Wire, Drawn Tube, Welding Wire, Forging Stock and Rivet Stock.
